The Heron Cottage is a classically styled St. Simons cottage with a fantastic backyard, a wonderfully private pool and outdoor heated shower and covered bike parking. Beautifully decorated, it is located within a short walk or bike ride to the Village/Pier and beaches, this quiet neighborhood lets you escape the hustle and bustle for a truly serene stay. With 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, this boutique beach cottage is the perfect spot for your island getaway with family or friends.

THE SPACE
Heron Cottage features 3 comfortable bedrooms:
- Primary Suite: King bed on the 1st floor, en-suite bath with shower and jetted soaking tub
- Guest King Suite: 2nd Floor, en-suite bath with shower/tub combo
- Queen Suite: Main level, Queen bed, full bath across the hall with shower/tub combo

Kitchen:
-The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials and a few extras, including wine storage, crockpot and juicer.

Gathering Areas:
- You'll love the open living room with 64" smart TV, comfortable couches, and plenty of seating for everyone.
-Open dining room
- The screened back porch is our favorite spot - perfect for dining or enjoying quiet time around the outdoor fireplace.
- The pool! Our pool is 15x30 and is surrounded by outdoor seating and a gas grill. The heated outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing the kids from the beaches.

We love hosting families and friends alike and many of our guests come year after year.

The Rules:
-OUR NEIGHBORS are precious to us and our guests should be thoughtful about the noise level. This is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, and are looking for guests who will treasure it during their time here.

-OUTDOOR NOISE must be kept to a considerate level for our neighbors, including quiet hours starting at 9pm.

-GATHERINGS at this property are limited to registered Heron guests only (6 persons total). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, parties etc. are not permitted.

-POOL is for registered Heron guests only.

-NO PETS or SMOKING anywhere on property. Due to allergies we are strictly pet and smoke free at Heron Cottage.

-PARKING is limited to 3 vehicles and 1 golf cart. No boats or trailers allowed.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.
