THE SPACE
After a long walk or sunny day at the beach, enjoy dipping your toes in the 16ft X 28ft pool. There is a spacious place for everyone in this home from the covered porch off the living room, to the covered patio by the pool, or the screened in pool side porch with picnic table. Located on the second floor of the home is a common area, where the kids or adults alike can watch TV and play games. There is plenty of space in the living room, kitchen and dining rooms where your entire group of 12 can mingle, watch TV and dine. Note the bunkbeds are for kids only, so this home hosts a max of 10 adults + 2 kids. If you are looking for a comfortable home for your family gathering, Shore am Happy will aim to please!


Home Layout:
As you enter the home, there is a bedroom on the right with a king size bedroom, adjoining bathroom with shower and single vanity. (TV)

Up a few stairs you enter a large open space of the living room, open kitchen and dining room. (Large screen TV)

Kitchen is well equipped with a gas range and single serve & drip style coffee pots.

Behind the kitchen is a half bath. And a few more steps away is a king size bedroom, adjoining bathroom with shower and single vanity. (TV)

Upstairs you enter a landing with a sitting area, desk, and TV.

On the right side is a bedroom with queen size bed, 2 single twin beds. Off the bedroom is an adjoining Jack-n-Jill Bathroom, a toilet and sink, which can be shut off from the other side of the bathroom.

On the left side of the landing is a bedroom with a queen size bed and a bunk bed. There is also an adjoining side to the Jack-n-Jill Bathroom, with a toilet and sink, which can be shut off from the other side of the bathroom. Shared in the middle is a combo tub/shower.

Down to the ground level, you will either exit out to the garage (which you can use for parking) or the screened in porch with a picnic table overlooking the pool and back yard. Back yard is fenced.

Starter supply packs are provided, plan to bring additional paper, bath, kitchen and laundry supplies as you and your family may need.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.
