THE SPACE
The Main House features a stunning great room with tons of seating and dining space, a chef’s kitchen, a laundry room, a guest 1/2 bathroom, and 4 bedrooms - each with a private bathroom. The huge 5th bedroom with private bathroom is in the detached Guest House that is tucked behind the Main House, accessible from the pool deck. The Guest House also contains a kitchenette and a spacious bonus room with plenty of seating and smart TV. The secluded fenced-in back yard with private pool (option to heat the pool), furnished covered porch, BBQ, and large dining table provides great outdoor living space for all ages.

5 Bedrooms each with its own private bathroom, brand new super-comfortable mattresses, black out blinds or curtains and ceiling fans:

The owners have a long history on St. Simons and they named Stollaway Retreat in honor of their family who settled here generations ago. They are excited to share this very special property with you!

Pool is approximately 22ft and is kidney shaped.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surchages attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly with $400 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend(last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

This property is a dream! The idyllic setting was perfect for a few days to slow down and have some peace & quiet. The photos don\'t do this home justice, it\'s immaculately kept and styled to make you feel right at home. The location couldn\'t be better, walkable to parks, trails, restaurants and everything you need!

This property was exactly as described and what you would expect for the cost. We were able to comfortably fit 4 families on this property to have our annual summer vacation. The king beds and private bathrooms in each bedroom are a complete game changer in that respect. Nobody had to settle for an awkward double bed situation or feel left out. The living area was amazing and open to the spacious kitchen with a beautiful island. The outdoor area and pool were fantastic and a great place for us to relax and catch up with friends/family. We rented golf carts for the week and those were within a 5-7 minute drive to most places we needed to go (restaurants, shops, beach, etc). The hosts were responsive and available via text, all-in-all we had no issues with any part of this stay. We will definitely keep this as an option in coming years!

This spacious and clean house is located right next to a park and short walking distance to bunch of restaurants and the board walk. my family fit comfortable and enjoyed pool and board games and a lot of quality family time.

Loved our stay at Stollaway! A great place for our family reunion! Kitchen and great room was a great gathering space as was the back porch overlooking the pool! Comfy for all of us with 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths! Well be back!

The Stollaway Retreat is a “Gem”in todays rental world. This beautiful home has all the amenities that a family/friends could ask for — large open concept kitchen and great room is perfect for gathering. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with a 6 burner gas stove with griddle, great for breakfast for a crowd. Our pancakes turned out beautiful. The heated pool, with covered porch and outdoor grill make outdoor entertaining a breeze. The proximity to the Pier Village and restaurants is a blessing. No matter your choice in foods you will find a restaurant to enjoy. The neighborhood is quiet and offers great dog walking areas. There are parks across the street for children to play. The ocean is a short walk away with great public access.

A GEM of a property!

With 3 families and 3 generations, we were looking for a vacation house to please everyone for a long weekend. Needless to say, we found quite literally the best place ever. The house is walkable to downtown (lots of restaurant options), the local park (playground, pickle ball courts) and the pier. The pool is incredible and we were only a short drive to the beach! The house was sparkling clean and the bedrooms had everything we needed. The pillows and mattresses were very comfortable. We loved the open concept design of the house. It was perfect for the parents to watch TV while having space for the grandchildren to play in the game area. There was lots of space to take work calls, and quiet areas to read and relax. We especially appreciated the extra large dining table. The entire household could sit together for big family meals. Needless to say, this was the ideal place for our getaway and we can\'t wait to book again!

Like a 5 star resort! Perfect location!
