This delightful retreat features a newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms, ensuring a seamless blend of old-world character and contemporary convenience. THE SPACE
Bedroom 1 – Queen (sleeps 2)

Bathroom 1 – Shared in the hall with a combination tub/shower

Bedroom 2 – Bunk Room, Bunk 1 has two Singles, Bunk 2 has a Single on top and Full on the bottom (sleeps 4-5)

Bedroom 3 – Queen (sleeps 2), ensuite bathroom

Bathroom 2 – Ensuite with shower, services Bedroom 3, access to the pool area

Bedroom 4 – Primary, King (sleeps 2), ensuite bathroom

Bathroom 3 – Ensuite with shower, services Bedroom 4, primary, access to the pool area

Outdoor shower with hot water! Everyone's favorite place to shower.

Pool does not have a heating option.

No Pets.

This home had a major renovation in the fall of 2024 - come try the new Sunshine Daydreams!

Parking for 3 cars. Note parking for large SUVs is limited.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

We enjoyed our stay! This was our second time staying in the house and we highly recommend it! Lots of room all on one level. Very comfortable and the beach is so close! We will be back next year!

Family time!

We had 6 adults and 4 kids under the age of 10 in this home and felt there was just the right amount of space, bathrooms, etc. The home is well maintained and is bigger in person than in the photos. We cooked every meal in and the only thing we needed more of were lids for pots and pans. The beach is easy to walk to in 5 minutes. Make sure to enter the beach from 6th St, which is by far the shortest and easiest walk. We would stay here again! The owners were very easy to work with.

The home was well equipped to house guests from floor layout to linens to TV and internet. Outside is a relaxing pool - even though this time of year will provide a chill in the water - and a short walk to the beach. The house is situated in a quiet, older neighborhood of large oaks and uniquely styled homes. Surrounding area is great for walking or biking and 5 mins away from the St Simons Lighthouse and Pier.

Quiet and relaxing

We rented this property to celebrate my mom\'s 60th birthday. The house is well kept and bigger than it looks in the pictures. A feature that came in handy is that the backyard is accessible through the two en suite bathrooms, so you can go straight from the pool, to the backyard shower, to the inside showers without dripping on the wood floor. This is particularly useful when you have three soaked kids coming from the beach after a rain storm! The pool was nice and cozy, while providing enough room for our family of nine to hang out. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. If we come back to St. Simons Island, we would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic House!

We had such a nice visit to Saint Simon\'s Island. The East Beach Cottage was perfect, plenty of space for sleeping and gathering. The backyard was lovely, my kids LOVED the pool. The location is fantastic - close to the beach, marsh and a short ride to the village. We loved walking to the beach and exploring. We can\'t wait to return!

My family and I rented this home for Labor Day weekend and it was perfect for the 10 of us (7 adults, 2 small kids and one baby). Everyone kept commenting on how much they loved the house and all of the charm. The house has a great flow for families: the living areas were nice and open so everyone could hang out but the bedrooms were private and quiet. The location was nice as well (a little walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and stores). Everyone\'s favorite was the pool...perfect once the beach got too hot. We are already planning to stay here again next year!
